Advanced Email Utilities work on MS Outlook mail. For the benefit of users, options like synchronization, compression, duplication removal etc. are made available on the Advanced Email Utilities Toolbar. Users can directly access the Advanced Email Utilities option from the toolbar, and carry on their work with ease. These options are displayed on the MS Outlook screen when you install the Advanced Email Utilities Toolbar from the Overview tab. On uninstalling the toolbar, options related to the application disappear from the Outlook.

In addition, you can flag a mail to mark for follow-up. If you get large volumes of mail everyday, you can lose track of important messages. By flagging them, you mark a note to a mail message that reminds you to take a specific action later on. Different flags can be put for different reasons like follow up, reply urgently, review the job, just for information, to call a person on a certain date or to do a job after certain period etc. Multiple flags can be associated with a single mail, which can be cleared when the task associated with it is completed. To add to this, all the mail that appear within a range of date and interval can be marked in red with Advanced Email Utilities, as a sign of importance or difference.
